How to Access Your Receipts or Purchase History from the Apple iOS App Store

If you made a purchase or started a subscription through the Apple iOS App Store and need a copy of your receipt, we’re here to help guide you. Since Apple processes all App Store payments directly, your receipts and billing details are managed through your Apple ID—but don’t worry, they’re easy to find!

Below are a few simple ways to access everything you need.


Option 1: Check Your Purchase History on Your iPhone or iPad

  1. Open the Settings app.

  2. Tap your name at the top to open your Apple ID.

  3. Select Media & Purchases.

  4. Tap View Account (you may be asked to sign in).

  5. Choose Purchase History.

  6. You’ll see a list of all your recent purchases and subscriptions.

  7. Tap any item to view the full details—date, amount, and order ID.

It’s quick and super convenient.


Option 2: Search Your Email for Apple Receipts

Apple automatically sends an email receipt whenever you make a purchase or a subscription renews.

  1. Open your email inbox.

  2. Try searching for “Apple receipt”, “App Store”, or “invoice from Apple”.

  3. You should see a receipt with all the details you need.

If nothing shows up, it’s worth checking your spam or junk folder just in case.


Option 3: View Your Purchases on a Computer

If you prefer using a computer:

  1. Go to Apple’s Report a Problem page: reportaproblem.apple.com

  2. Sign in with the Apple ID used for your purchase.

  3. Your full purchase history will appear, and you can view or download receipts as needed.
